The Fewster Painting team is dedicated, hard-working and practices excellent communication at every level.
The team has a wide range of experience from diverse backgrounds.
A Maryland native, Robert "Bob" Fewster has been a the forefront of Fewster Painting since he established the company in 1978. Fewster makes annual contributions back to the local community, and remains actively involved in all aspects of the business.
In 1992, Jeff joined the Fewster Painting team as a painter’s helper, and during this time he quickly learned the trade and became a versatile painting mechanic. A few years down the line, he was promoted to a Foreman. As a Foreman, Jeff learned additional attributes of the trade including coordinating work with other trades, scheduling, and customer relations. Simultaneously, Jeff attended college classes in various topics including Business Management, Accounting, Estimating and Project Management. After 10 years of working in the field, Jeff transitioned to an office position working as an Estimator and Project Manager, during which time he further learned the accounting program and assisted with bookkeeping. Today, Jeff is the Vice President of R.H. Fewster Painting and assists Bob with all daily aspects of the business.
Robin has been a part of the Fewster Painting team since 2008 when she joined as our Office Assistant. Her motivation, drive, and organization has been influential to her promotion as Office Manager. For the last 10 years as Office Manager, Robin's daily duties include completing proposals, invoicing, payroll, HR duties and book keeping.
Eric was a self-employed painter before joining the team in 2010. As an exceptional Painting Mechanic, Eric was rapidly promoted to Foreman. In this position, he typically oversaw our largest projects, and worked alongside Phil as his leading foreman for a number of years. In 2023, when Phil decided to continue working on a part-time basis, Eric was promoted to Senior Superintendent. Today, he now runs our daily field operations and oversees our foremen and their crews. With 40+ years in the business, Eric is always eager to share his expertise with our crews.
Phil Igo became a part of the Fewster Painting team in 2005 as a Foremen. Soon after, Phil became an invaluable part of the team and became Senior Superintendent. Phil’s 40+ years of experience and knowledge is influential with both estimating and customer relations. In 2023, Phil took a step down from his daily responsibilities in order to spend more time with family, however, he remains a very important part of the team and has enjoyed helping Eric transition to his new position.
Prior to joining the Fewster Painting team in 2018, Arnold worked for his father’s painting business for over 20 years, and was his father’s ‘right hand man'. During this time, Arnold learned various aspects of the business. He also received his AA degree in Construction Management in 2005. Arnold prides himself in being thorough in all aspects to ensure General Contractors do not have any scope gaps in their painting bids.
